Thick Pork Chops

This brand of rub is new to me, but when my local butcher shop said that it’s their best selling line of rubs, I had to give it a try. The first thing you notice when you open the bottle is a heavy garlic smell. It’s a little different smelling than normal garlic; it’s almost like a fresh chopped garlic smell and not a dehydrated one.
I admit I need to spend more time on this one, but the quick 2″ pork chops I made with them were fabulous. I typically reverse sear my chops, so I have to use rubs with a low sugar content that this one hit the spot.
I also added a tablespoon to our Roasted Poblano Cream Sauce to give it a little kick and it nicely rounded it out.
I can’t wait to try this in some more dishes.
